Modernist errors have led to a current and 
widespread crisis in the Catholic Church.

Cardinal Carlo Caffarra observed in 2017: "Only a blind man can deny that there is great confusion in the Church." Still, many remain unaware of the scope and origin of the current crisis, or its historical roots in the heresy of modernism, condemned in 1907.
